Celebrate, Improve, Plan, Influence
Evaluation Support Scotland have a wide range of resources. One of their newest is a guide to: -
|

‘Take some Breathing session’ on Wednesday 24th April at 1pm on MS Teams to hear more about the suite of mental health services provided by NHS 24, with a particular focus on Breathing Space, Scotland’s free phone line and webchat service available for people aged 16 and over living in Scotland.
You will find out about this free listening service, as well as information on the campaign, ‘You Matter, We Care for for better mental health in Scotland’ and also resources including ‘The Little Book of Caring Ways’ and the ‘Take some Breathing Space’ bench initiative.

The Argyll and Bute Climate Action Network (ABCAN) Hub
|
|
|
|
Get involved
ABCAN are keen to hear from any interested individuals, groups or organisations in Argyll and Bute who want to know more about the Hub and how it will contribute to climate action. They are growing and building the network so please contact them abcan@act-now.org.uk

Glenan Wood is seeking woodland volunteers
|
|
|
|
Friends of Glenan Wood are keen to encourage new volunteers to get involved, and for most activities no experience is necessary. Glenan Wood runs both weekly and ad hoc volunteer sessions and you do not need to commit to coming every week.

Perinatal and Infant Mental Health 2024 Fund
The Perinatal and Infant Mental Health (PIMH) 2024 Fund is now open for applications.
The aim of the fund is to sustain and improve third sector, non-clinical support for babies, parents and carers affected by, or at risk of, perinatal and infant mental health issues in Scotland.
Funded by Scottish Government, the application process is managed by Inspiring Scotland.
Applications will close on Friday 3rd May at 12pm (noon)

The Robertson Trust, has announced that it will be introducing changes to its funding programme that will come into effect in September 2024. As a result, the Trust will be closing to applications from 31 May 2024 to September 2024. The Trust has highlighted that its strategy will remain unchanged but that it aims to ‘sharpen the focus’ of its Funds to better achieve its objectives.

The following funding programmes are currently open to applications:
- Wee Grants – revenue or capital funding of up to £2,000 for one year only (for constituted community groups and charities with an annual income under £25,000)
- Small Grants - revenue funding of between £2,000 and £15,000 per year, for up to five years (for registered charities with an annual income between £25,000 and £100,000)
- Large Grants - revenue funding of between £15,000 and £50,000 per year, for up to five years (for registered charities with an annual income of between £100,000 and £2 million)
Community Vehicle Grants - capital funding of between £2,500 and £10,000 towards the costs or upgrade of a vehicle used by a charity (for registered charities with an annual income of between £25,000 and £2 million).
The deadline for applications is 31 May 2024 (noon).

The National Lottery Community Fund
|
|
|
|
The National Lottery Community Fund has announced that it will launch new funding programmes for Scotland later in 2024. However, as a result, it will close the following funding programmes from August 2024:
- Community-led Activity
- Improving Lives
- Cost-of Living Support Scotland
Groups currently in receipt of funding from these programmes that are closing will continue to receive funding until their grant ends. Organisations with grants that will end before March 2025 and would like to continue receiving funding are advised to contact the National Lottery Community Fund.
The final deadline for applications to all three funds is 21 August 2024 (noon).
Awards for All, Young Start and the Scottish Land Fund will all remain open as normal.
