HMIE Inspection Report
Following a recent visit from Education Scotland the inspection report on the CLD partnership (Led by Live Argyll and involving Community Development) is now available to read HERE
(search for Argyll and Bute Council using the most recent filter ).This gives an overview of the levels of Community Learning and Development in the area and was positively received by those involved.

New outcome improvement plan released !
The Argyll and Bute Outcomes Improvement Plan for 2024-2034 replaces the plan for 2013-2023 and has been developed through community engagement as the area emerges from a global pandemic, and deals with a cost of living crisis and the increasing impacts of climate change
The Outcomes Improvement Plan for 2024-2034 will focus on improving:
Outcome 1: Transport Infrastructure
Outcome 2: Housing
Outcome 3: Community Wellbeing

Gaelic Gathering

Funded by Bòrd na Gàidhlig, and organised by Argyll & Bute Council,, the Gaelic Gathering provides an opportunity for organisations, community groups, and individuals to meet with national organisations and share ideas on how they can work in partnership to help grow the Gaelic language.
Jenny Gilruth MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills, will be the keynote speaker at this year’s event, alongside representatives from various other organisations.
